Following the inaugural meeting of the new ColGlen Community Council held under the auspices of Argyll & Bute Council on Wednesday 9th September the first ordinary meeting of the Community Council will take place on Monday 28 September at 7.30 pm in the Glendaruel Hall.
Members of the public are warmly encouraged to attend.
It was agreed at the inaugural meeting that meetings would be held in September, November , February, April and June , when an AGM would also be held.
Newly elected office bearers are ;
Convener : Charles Dixon Spain
Vice Convener : Michael Russell
Secretary : Vacant. The Council are keen to recruit a volunteer secretary who can receive an honorarium.
Treasurer : Paul Bulmer
A standing agenda will be posted on the noticeboards and online and draft minutes will be available online within 21 days of each meeting, as per the new Argyll & Bute Scheme for Community Councils.
There will be an opportunity for questions and comment from members of the public from the CC catchment area as a standing agenda item.
